We believe that after reading our content, you have gradually gained an understanding of the Yi ethnic group's history and culture, as well as their true image beyond stereotypes. Unlike other charity or cultural protection organizations, our organization will implement our promoted concepts uniquely and innovatively.

To better break the stereotypes about the Yi ethnic group and build a bridge of connection between the public, and the minority Yi group, our organization will sell products with distinctive Yi cultural characteristics from Liangshan in a non-profit manner. These products serve as tangible proof of the concepts we promote, bringing people on a journey from understanding to experiencing, breaking stereotypes, and building bonds between groups.

Next, our organization will introduce the products we currently sell, mainly divided into three categories: local specialty agricultural products, traditional Yi lacquerware, and Yi silver ornaments.

Leibo Navel Orange Sales

Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, located in southern Sichuan, boasts many specialty agricultural products and handicrafts due to its unique geographical location and cultural heritage. Among Liangshan's many distinctive products, Leibo navel oranges stand out prominently.

Leibo County is situated in the Jinsha River Valley area of Sichuan. Its unique planting environment, characterized by the special climate and soil conditions of the Jinsha River Valley, is extremely suitable for navel orange cultivation. Leibo County began introducing navel oranges in the 1990s and gradually developed it into a regional specialty industry. The area’s moderate annual average temperature, abundant sunlight, and significant temperature difference between day and night are conducive to the accumulation of sugar and the formation of the fruit’s color. Thus, the navel oranges produced in Leibo County are plump, and beautifully shaped, with thin, smooth skin. In terms of taste, Leibo navel oranges are exceptional, featuring tender flesh, crisp texture,  a rich taste, and sour flavor with abundant juiciness. This unique taste makes Leibo navel oranges highly favored in the market.

Most Leibo navel oranges are grown by local individual farmers who rely on the income from selling the harvested oranges to sustain their families. In recent years, the local government has actively promoted the development of the navel orange industry by organizing promotional events and providing logistics subsidies to help farmers expand their sales and support rural revitalization. In 2021, the comprehensive output value of Leibo navel oranges reached 386 million yuan, increasing the average income of orange-producing households by more than 30,000 yuan. Today, Leibo navel oranges have become a signature product of Liangshan Prefecture, introducing many people to Leibo and showcasing a new image of the Yi people in Liangshan.

Therefore, through our non-profit organization "Link: Know to Feel" we aim to help people genuinely and objectively enjoy the high-quality specialty agricultural products of Liangshan, while also assisting growers in timely selling their harvested fruits. By using non-profit sales as a medium, we allow people to experience the journey from knowledge to personal experience.

Yi Lacquerware Sales

In Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yi lacquerware shines with its profound historical and cultural heritage and exquisite craftsmanship. This traditional craft has a long history and embodies the wisdom and ingenuity of the Yi people.

Yi lacquerware is renowned for its vibrant colors and intricate patterns. During production, craftsmen select high-quality wood, meticulously carve it, and then apply natural lacquer and mineral pigments to create a rich and colorful design. Each piece of lacquerware is the culmination of the craftsmen's dedication, reflecting the Yi people's aesthetic pursuits and their reverence for nature and love for life. The patterns on Yi lacquerware often draw from natural scenery, such as the sun, moon, stars, and cultural elements, symbolizing good fortune, happiness, and health. These patterns are not only beautiful but also carry deep cultural meanings. Through lacquerware, we can see the unique cultural traditions and aesthetic concepts of the Yi people.

Throughout history, Yi lacquerware has been an indispensable part of Yi people's lives. Today, Yi lacquerware has become a representative of intangible cultural heritage, gaining increasing attention and admiration. It is not only a symbol of Liangshan Yi culture but also a unique gem in the world's traditional craft treasure trove.
